Composite Vaccines
Antitope has established technologies for measuring CD8+ (cytotoxic) T cell epitopes and regulatory T cell epitopes (Tregs) as well as CD4+ T cell epitopes in order to generate more effective recombinant vaccines. These have been introduced into various vaccines in an optimized form to achieve a broad coverage of MHC class I and MHC class II-associated responses. For vaccination in indications such as infectious disease and cancer selection of immunodominant T cell epitopes that bind to a large number of MHC alleles is often associated with improved efficacy.
